Meet the Fleet
-
Gaucho
A 2006 Sprinter van that was Tierra Traveler’s first conversion and is still a fan favorite. Gaucho is the largest of our three vans with a spacious interior and a bed oriented lengthwise. It’s our family van and a true workhorse — handling very well despite its size thanks to a VanCompass suspension upgrade.
Available April - October

Vaquera
A 2022 4wd Sprinter 144 built with an artisan interior and top-of-the-line systems — this cowgirl has style and strength. Vaquera is capable of staying off-grid longer with twice the battery capacity of our other vans. Its interior storage and camp features (like the awning) make it a great vehicle for dispersed camping.

Poncho
A 2022 4wd Sprinter 144 built with an open, zen-style interior for the minimalist traveler. Poncho boasts two moon roofs for stargazing. With those limiting available roof space, it has less solar capacity so its better-suited for guests who regularly move between locations.

Happy Campers
Your simple guide to renting a sprinter campervan.
01 Book your campervan rental.
We might be one of the only outfits offering unlimited mileage to guests traveling within the Northern Rocky Mountains. Delivery to the Bozeman-Yellowstone Airport or surrounding areas is also available, or you can pick up your rental van from our location in Livingston, Montana — a great starting point if you’re planning a visit to Yellowstone National Park.
02 Reserve campsites in advance.
If you’re heading into Yellowstone or Glacier, you’ll need campsite reservations. Most sites are reserved far in advance, so it is recommended that you make reservations early. Our team can recommend areas for dispersed camping if you’re unable to find sites within the park boundaries. All of our vans are solar powered so no hook-ups are required.
03 Schedule a delivery and walkthrough.
Depending on your arrival time, we’ll either meet you in person or schedule a virtual walkthrough. Each van includes an operation manual but we are always available to answer questions. When you book a sprinter van with us, you get peace of mind knowing someone’s got your back. Read more on our FAQ page.
04 Grab groceries and hit the road.
Our campervans are fully-equipped and ready for adventure, making your Montana van-life road trip hassle-free. All you need to bring is your headlamp and house slippers. We’re not interested in serving up a long list of add-ons. We want you to be prepared for any spontaneous moment that comes your way!
